SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – American Medical Response (AMR) is honoring and recognizing first responders Thursday with a special graduation and awards ceremony.
22News spoke to the Earn While You Learn graduates about the significance of this moment in their careers. Many of these brave men and women have been training for this moment all of their lives.
“For five years I’ve been working at this trying to get to it you know,” said Lambertus Lowe, a paramedic graduate from AMR, “It’s overwhelming! This journey started for me in class about two years ago but emotionally and spiritually about 20 years ago as a teen.”
