Charles Stein
Senior Consultant
Charles is one of the Northeast’s premier business writers, having worked for Bloomberg News and the Boston Globe, where his widely read column covered a range of economic and financial issues. He was a reporter and columnist for the Globe for more than 20 years, writing about regional and national businesses. Charles also appeared regularly on TV and radio, offering perspectives on economics and financial matters. He hosted a business radio show for many years.
At Bloomberg News for more than a decade, Charles focused his reporting on financial services firms. He interviewed some of the leading investors in the industry, at Fidelity, Loomis Sales Vanguard and Pimco. Charles works with Slowey McManus clients in financial services and other highly regulated industries.
He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and was a Bagehot Fellow at Columbia University.
Deb Beck

Deb is a longtime creative consultant and the CEO of BigBunny Designs – a fully integrated marketing company. Previously, she owned and operated Beck Designs, now the design division of BigBunny. Deb has designed and executed marketing communications and design initiatives for clients such as MRO Software, Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA, Fenway Community Health, Oracle and many others.
Deb has served on numerous professional panels, think tanks and creative collaborations. Recently, she served on the Leadership Board of the MetroWest Chapter of the Polka Dot Powerhouse as the Social Media Director. In this role, she helped to create brand standards and social media presence for this fastest growing chapter of this global organization.
Deb is a certified Constant Contact Partner and is the recipient of several design awards. She received her BS in Marketing from Boston University.
