American Medical Response: AMR collects 378 pounds of food for families in Southington ahead of holiday season
SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Members of the AMR team in Waterbury collected food and monetary donations ahead of Thanksgiving on Sunday outside ShopRite in Southington.
AMR collected 378 pounds of food and $118 in donations in four hours outside ShopRite.
Before delivering the donated items, the took one final trip around the store to make sure they got all the items requested by the food pantry.
The donations will help families throughout the year.
