American Medical Response: AMR Springfield to distribute winter care kits to homeless veterans in community
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – First responders from American Medical Response (AMR) Springfield are assembling and distributing winter care bags to support homeless veterans in the community.
On Friday, AMR Springfield EMTs and paramedics put together winter care bags filled with a variety of essential items, including socks, body wipes, and toothbrushes. The bags also include local veteran resource information to provide ongoing support for those who need it.
“Our team members know that care and compassion don’t end when the call does,” said Kim D’Angelo, Operations Manager for AMR Springfield. “Through this effort, we want to remind our local veterans that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.”
