The week of Oct. 20 marks Massachusetts’ annual STEM Week, a time to draw attention to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics educational and future job opportunities for students across the Commonwealth.
As the interim executive director of Berkshire Arts and Technology Charter Public School (BART), a college-preparatory public school serving grades 6-12, I’ve seen firsthand the importance of integrating STEM-based educational opportunities into the classroom.
