Bowditch & Dewey: Trump administration lists federal buildings in Boston and Cambridge as possible targets for sale

President Trump’s sweeping effort to slash costs and reshape the federal government could arrive in downtown Boston and other corners of Massachusetts more concretely than expected.

On Tuesday, the General Services Administration, a federal agency that manages government properties, announced it had identified more than 400 federally owned buildings and facilities nationwide deemed as “non-core” to operations, opening the door for them to be sold or redeveloped.
