Hampden Charter School of Science: Every Hampden Charter School of Science grad accepted to college this year
CHICOPEE — Caps off to the recently-graduated class at Hampden Charter School of Science.
Every student was accepted into college, and in total, they were awarded more than $35 million total in scholarships, a statement from the school said.
According to data from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, the charter school, which offers grades 6 through 12, had about 120 students in its graduating class.
Seven students brought in more than $1 million in scholarship offers and five received full-rides.
Some students received college admission from institutions including Northeastern University, Purdue University, Virginia Tech and Worcester Polytechnic Institute, the statement said.
