Midwest Innocence Project: Motion filed in decades old KCK murder case, accuses former KCK detective of misconduct

A petition filed Tuesday in Kansas City, Kansas, alleges Donnell Dobbs was wrongfully convicted in a 2008 murder case, arguing that Dobbs was pinned as the suspect by former KCK Police Detective Roger Golubski.
Midwest Innocence Project attorneys filed the motion to overturn the conviction in a 93-page document, saying that Dobbs ‘ constitutional rights were violated, key evidence and his alibi were never presented, and a separate suspect who matched the witness description was never looked into.
