New England Donor Services: Neyman, Walking Transplant, Takes Organ Donation to Next Level

There are few things more gratifying than a truly selfless act. To sacrifice oneself for the good of another. The true human spirit of giving.
Camden resident Kathie Neyman, in that regard, is empathy personified.
The 67-year-old Neyman is not only an organ donor, but participated in the 2026 Transplant Games of America Thursday through Tuesday, June 18-23, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.
The games, according to its website, “have an amazingly rich and memorable 33-year history of bringing together a community of individuals who have been touched by the miracle of donation and transplantation.”
The event features over 20 athletic competitions, more than 60 special events and thousands of participants.
It is a an incredibly supportive community — one Neyman is proud to be part of.
“My circle of friends has just grown exponentially within the transplant community,” she said. “It’s a whole new passion in my life.”
