New England Donor Services: Northborough golf tournament honors 12-year-old through organ donation
The vibrant, athletic, determined boy who filled the house on the corner of Route 129 in Reading with Lego structures and the aroma of good food cooking died a dozen years ago, but his presence still fills his childhood home.
The portrait of Aidan “AJ” Skinner sits on the piano along with the photos of his older siblings. His handprint, surrounded by the prints made by his parents, Robert and Krista Skinner, and his brother and sister, Kyle and Molly, hangs in the dining room. A neighbor hung a lantern on the crossbeam of his lacrosse goal.
