New England Donor Services: Organ donation nonprofit spreads awareness
New England Donor Services, the region’s leading nonprofit organization that coordinates organ and tissue donation, hosted an event at City Hall with city and state leaders last week to highlight the life-saving importance of organ donation.
The event, celebrating National Donate Life Month in April, recognized donor recipients and their families as well as educated the public on the need for organ and tissue donation.
Two local residents were able to share their personal experiences with organ donation and the power it has to save lives.
