New life science development planned for 2-acre South San Francisco site

Life sciences real estate developer IQHQ has acquired a nearly two-acre site in South San Francisco currently known as the South City Station from Republic Metropolitan for a planned 213,000 square-foot office development, the company reported Wednesday.

IQHQ, which has offices in San Diego and in Boston and was formerly known as Creative Science Properties, is currently pursuing entitlements for the site located at 580 Dubuque Ave. The company did not disclose the price of the off-market transaction.
