The entire healthcare industry is facing unrivaled challenges amid the coronavirus surge. Hospitals have been at critical capacity and healthcare workers are overburdened and falling ill. A public health emergency like what we have been experiencing with Covid-19 highlights the importance of home care.

Home care clinicians are a lifeline to patients, many of whom may have lost caregiver support or have limited access to resources. In many cases, due to pandemic and the impact of social distancing, some of the programs our patients rely on for social support and a degree of independence are not open or working at a reduced capacity.

Through investments in new innovative approaches and technologies, home health care providers are working hard to fill in that gap, to address social determinants, and to ensure patients remain safe and well cared for in the community.
